The AQIS’s mission is to create the required conditions for the positive development of the private security industry in Quebec; for the gathering of the individuals whose profession is associated with this industry; for a significant contribution to the safety of the citizens, to the protection of the properties and the heritage of companies and governments, as well as to the support of the work of public security organizations in prevention of the crime and protection of the citizens.

L’Association Provinciale des Agences de Sécurité est la seule qui défend les intérêts de l’industrie de la sécurité auprès du Ministre de la Sécurité publique ainsi qu’auprès du Comité paritaire des agents de sécurité, et ce depuis plusieurs années.

Gardium supports AirMédic, a non-profit organization providing emergency air help on the whole Quebec territory. It is a public service, complementary to the existing pre-hospitable services.
